The Officials Hip Hop Company

The Officials are an award-winning dance crew from Next Step Dance and Performing Arts Center, located in Frisco, TX. They are dedicated group of dancers who are passionate about hip hop dance and have a desire to perform both professionally and within their community. Under the direction of Jenny Durbin Smith and assisted by Jessica Stewart and Skylar Allen, these dancers train for competitions, performances and professional jobs. In only the short time since their 2014 inception, The Officials have performed at Dallas Cowboys Pre Game and Halftime shows, are 2x champions at Dallas Hip Hop Dance Fest, were awarded the DHDF crowd favorite crew, are Monster’s A-list 2x Winners, in Dallas and top 3 overall, in Los Angeles, CA, consecutively received the Entertainment Award at Monster’s A-list Dallas, ICON award winners at Showbiz, Dance Industry Awards nominees in both the Open and Hip Hop categories, and have multiple National Champion titles along with choreography and entertainment awards. In 2019, The Officials booked their very own Royal Caribbean Cruise Line performance show! The Officials have also performed at community and corporate events, celebrity birthday parties, charity events, and business grand openings. The Officials competed for the first time at Hip Hop International in 2019 and strive to compete in more urban dance competitions and meet new dance communities from across the world!

The Officials are a group of dedicated dancers ages 5-18 who are passionate about dance, growth and culture. They have a desire to perform and compete in hip-hop based competitions across the country.
