The Performing Company is an elite performance and competitive group of dancers under the direction of Michelle Stafford, and assistant directors Ashley Thon and Cody Berkeley. Our Tap and NSTP Director is Nick DiNicolangelo and Ballet Director Yulia Ilina.
The company members train in all styles of dance including, jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, modern, lyrical, ballroom, and pointe. Company members receive training from the high caliber instructors at Next Step Dance, as well as top choreographers and teachers from all over the United States, and many times from around the world. They also attend conventions and competitions throughout the dance season. The Performing Company is open to dancers ages 5 to 18 and requires them to dedicate a minimum of 5-15 hours a week depending on their age and skill level. These classes are closed to members of Performing Company only.
